Reigning Miss USA Noelia Voigt has announced her resignation from her role, citing mental health challenges.

In a statement posted on Instagram on Monday, May 6, Voigt expressed her gratitude for the experience but emphasized the importance of prioritizing her well-being.

"It is with a heavy heart that I announce my decision to resign as Miss USA," Voigt wrote. "This was not an easy decision, but it is one that I have made for the best interest of my mental health."

Voigt was crowned Miss USA in September 2023 and represented the United States at the Miss Universe competition in January 2024.
